Born on December 1, 1951, in Sioux City, Iowa, to Harley and Florence (Buckland) Amick, Randy grew up with deep connections to the Lawton-Bronson area. After graduating from Lawton-Bronson High School, he dedicated his life to hard work, family, and giving back to the community that meant so much to him.
Randy was known as someone who could make everyone feel welcome. His famous Chiefs party bus Christmas outing reflected his love for creating unforgettable experiences and bringing joy to the people around him.
Those who knew Randy will remember his warm smile, quick sense of humor, welcoming hugs, and genuine happiness when surrounded by loved ones. He enjoyed dancing, live music, following his favorite sports teams, and celebrating life’s special moments with family and friends.
Randy’s commitment to his community was evident through his many contributions over the years. He especially enjoyed Bronson’s Fourth of July celebrations and was known for hosting the annual golf fundraiser benefiting the local fire department.
