One of Ruth’s greatest contributions was founding the Beekman Rescue Squad, helping establish a vital emergency service organization that continues to support the community. Her dedication went far beyond answering calls for assistance. She brought comfort, kindness, and reassurance to people during some of their most challenging moments.
Throughout her years of service, Ruth touched many lives through her selflessness and compassion. She assisted in emergency situations, including helping with childbirths, offered support to those in need, and consistently gave her time and energy to helping neighbors and community members.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation on Friday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Horn & Thomes Funeral Home in Pawling, New York.
A funeral service honoring Ruth’s life will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at Hopewell Reformed Church, followed by a gathering at the Beekman Fire House.
Ruth C. Hogan will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her lifetime of kindness, service, and devotion to the Town of Beekman will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.
